Shungite pendant

Pendant measuring 18 x 18 mm with a 45 cm chain, crafted in 925 sterling silver with reconstituted shungite set within a silver heart. This delicate piece is accompanied by a mini rolo chain, also in 925 sterling silver, with round links.

Its main deposit is located in the village of Shunga (hence the origin of the mineral's name) in northwestern Russia in the Karelia region.

Shungite is one of the oldest organic minerals on Earth (200 million years old). Shungite is used to purify water, eliminates the taste and odor of chlorine, captures and destroys heavy metals (due to the action of fullerenes), breaks down pesticide residues, and possesses natural bactericidal properties.
