Onyx choker

A 450mm long choker crafted in 925 sterling silver, featuring a faceted black onyx stone in a circular shape, 6mm in diameter, with an intense black color. The pendant design incorporates a Turkish eye, with the stone set in a silver case at its center. The accompanying chain is a mini rolo chain with 1.5mm link diameter.

Its name derives from a Greek word meaning nail. It has a volcanic origin, formed by the accumulation of volcanic gases. In ancient times, it was considered a stone of misfortune, believed to generate sadness, fear, and hallucinations. It was also thought to contain a demon that emerged at night to sow discord.
