Amethyst and White Topaz Ring

Ring No. 15 crafted in rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, featuring a faceted teardrop-cut amethyst measuring 11 x 7 mm, 3 mm circular stones, and 2 mm circular white topaz stones. The design comprises the main amethyst in the center, surrounded by topaz stones, and flanked on either side by smaller amethysts, also surrounded by white topaz stones.

Amethyst:

According to Greek mythology, Dionysus, the god of wine, desired a maiden named Amethystos. She wished to remain chaste and prayed to the gods for help. The goddess Artemis heard her prayers, transforming her into a transparent crystal. When Dionysus learned of this, humiliated, he poured wine over the rock, staining it purple. The Greeks and Romans drank from amethyst cups to avoid drunkenness.
