This 30x18 mm pendant is crafted in rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver. The star of this elegant pendant is a polished cabochon of smoky golden labradorite, bevel-set. The domed surface features delicate, darker veins and radiates extraordinary metallic reflections. These reflections are due to an optical effect called labradorescence, which gives the piece a mysterious and captivating shimmer. It was first discovered in 1770 on the Labrador Peninsula, Canada. Ranging from translucent to opaque, it can appear in whitish, dark gray, or grayish-black colors with bright metallic reflections of blue or green.
