Sunstone Ring

Ring size 17, made of high-purity 950 silver. The sunstone is an iridescent feldspar of the oligoclase variety, with inclusions of fine microscopic copper flakes, giving it a reddish-brown hue with orange highlights. The stone has been faceted into an oval shape and measures 20 x 16 mm, mounted on a band made of silver wire with filigree details.

Sunstone, in mineralogical terms, is aventurine feldspar, although this name is now also used for quartz. During the Renaissance, this stone was often associated with the sun due to its radiant orange and gold colors. It was set in gold and used to attract the sun's energy in magical rituals.
