Dendritic Agate Pendant

Pendant measuring 46 x 29 mm crafted in 950 silver, featuring a trapezoidal polished cabochon dendritic agate measuring 29 x 26 mm. The stone is prong-set, allowing light to enter and highlight the unique characteristics of this beautiful agate.

Dendritic agate is a compact white quartz with green ferric silicate included in cracks and fissures, resembling plant structures. The dendritic inclusions are brown to black segregations of iron and manganese.

One of the important deposits in Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). Because the stones that formerly arrived from India passed through the Yemeni port of Mocha on their way to Europe, the dendrite is also called Mocha stone.
