Imperial topaz, citrine and cubic zirconia ring

Size 18 ring, crafted in rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, featuring one 9 x 9 mm square-cut imperial topaz, two 4 x 3 mm faceted teardrop-cut citrines flanking the main stone, and eight teardrop-cut cubic zirconias surrounding the topaz. Imperial Topaz:

The designation "Imperial" for this type of topaz originated in Russia, the location of the first fields, now depleted, during the Tsarist period. Imperial topaz was considered the stone of the sun.

Its reddish-orange color is due to traces of chromium, iron, manganese, titanium, and vanadium. Topazes are valued according to their color. From least to most valuable, they are yellow, orange, red, pink, cherry, lilac, and salmon, which is the most expensive and valuable.
