Amethyst and yellow sapphire ring

Size 20 ring crafted in rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver with hand-faceted amethyst and yellow sapphire stones. The ring's design features branches and fruit, with leaves covered in yellow sapphires and four amethysts in the center resembling ripe fruit.

Amethyst:

According to Greek mythology, Dionysus, the god of wine, desired a maiden named Amethystos. She wished to remain chaste and prayed to the gods for help. The goddess Artemis heard her prayers, transforming her into a transparent crystal. When Dionysus learned of this, humiliated, he poured wine over the rock, staining it purple. The Greeks and Romans drank from amethyst cups to avoid drunkenness.
