Imperial Topaz Ring

Size 25 ring, crafted from high-purity 950 silver with a 9 x 7 mm imperial topaz set with prongs on a wide silver band forged with a hammer near the stone, creating texture. It is a simple design that helps to highlight the stone.

The designation "Imperial" for this type of topaz originated in Russia, the location of the first fields, now depleted, during the Tsarist period. Imperial topaz was considered the stone of the sun.

Its reddish-orange color is due to traces of chromium, iron, manganese, titanium, and vanadium. Topazes are valued according to their color. From least to most valuable, they are yellow, orange, red, pink, cherry, lilac, and salmon, which is the most expensive and valuable.
