How do I find my ring size?

SIZE GUIDE: HOW TO FIND YOUR RING SIZE

At Rocas y Cristales, we want your new piece of jewelry to fit perfectly. Measuring your finger is simple and only takes a minute. Here are the two most effective ways to find your ring size before you buy.

METHOD 1: MEASURE THE INNER DIAMETER (MOST ACCURATE)

If you already have a ring that fits well on the chosen finger, follow these steps:

  1. Place the ring on a flat ruler.

  2. Measure the inner millimeters of the circle (do not include the thickness of the metal).

  3. Those millimeters correspond to the diameter that defines your size.

METHOD 2: MEASURE THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF YOUR FINGER

If you don't have a ring on hand:

  1. Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of thread around the base of your finger.

  2. Mark the point where it overlaps.

  3. Measure the distance with a ruler to get the circumference in millimeters.

Quick Reference Chart

Inner Diameter (mm) Suggested Size
16.5 mm Size No. 12
17.2 mm Size No. 14
17.8 mm Size No. 16
18.5 mm Size No. 18

💡 Designer Jewelry Tip: If the design you love has a double silver band (like many of our handcrafted rings), we recommend choosing a slightly looser size for added comfort.

If the design you love has a double silver band (like many of our handcrafted rings), we recommend choosing a slightly looser size for added comfort.

Place one of your rings on a ruler (as seen in the image) so that you can observe its internal diameter.

With that diameter, find its equivalent in the table of diameters and measurements below, and that is your number.
