Emerald and cubic zirconia ring

Size 13 ring made of rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, featuring five hand-faceted, 4 x 2 mm navette-cut emeralds and a 2 mm circular-cut central emerald, arranged in a flower shape. A silver butterfly, adorned with cubic zirconia, flutters beside it. A delicate and feminine ring.

The green color comes from a mixture of other minerals, including chromium, vanadium, and iron, which gives it a bluish tint. In natural light, the true essence of emeralds is easier to discern, while artificial light can expose internal fractures in the stone caused by the glare. In ancient European and Indian cultures, the emerald was associated with Mercury, the messenger of the gods and the god of journeys, sleep, and dreams, and was therefore considered the stone of divine inspiration.
