Pink Tourmaline Ring

Ring size 23, made of high-purity 950 silver, with a beautiful rectangular-cut, faceted pink tourmaline measuring 11 x 6 mm. The design consists of a wide, 7 mm, completely smooth silver band, raising the stone in a silver setting with a bezel-type clasp, positioned parallel to the ring band.

Also known as rubellite, pink tourmaline contains traces of manganese, which gives it its lovely pink hue. Tourmaline exhibits both pyroelectric and piezoelectric properties, meaning that opposite charges accumulate at both ends under pressure and when heated.
