This 145mm bracelet is crafted from 950 silver and features a hand-faceted, oval-cut Imperial Topaz stone measuring 14 x 10 mm. The stone boasts exceptional quality and color, with its characteristic brown tones. It is prong-set, allowing light to filter through and highlight its color and facets, showcasing its full splendor. The bracelet's design is simple, with a triple band and silver trim that enhances the piece.
The designation "Imperial" for this type of topaz originated in Russia, the location of the first fields, now depleted, during the Tsarist period. Imperial topaz was considered the stone of the sun.
Its reddish-orange color is due to traces of chromium, iron, manganese, titanium, and vanadium. Topazes are valued according to their color. From least to most valuable, they are yellow, orange, red, pink, cherry, lilac, and salmon, which is the most expensive and valuable.
