Amethyst and Pietersite Pendant

This 48 x 33 mm pendant is crafted from high-purity 950 silver. Its main stone is an irregularly shaped 24 x 15 mm Pietersite cabochon set in a silver-framed box, accompanied by an 8 x 6 mm oval-faceted amethyst set with prongs. Filigree silver wire separates the two stones, creating an elegant and feminine yet rustic pendant.

Pietersite:

It owes its name to its discoverer, Sid Pieters, who found it in the Namib Desert in 1962. The African variety is the most sought after for its wide range of colors. It is said to help one cope with times of rapid and turbulent change.
