Sunstone Pendant

Pendant measuring 56 x 30 mm crafted from high-purity 950 silver with a 35 x 26 mm sunstone faceted in a trapezoidal shape. The stone is prong-set, allowing its characteristic brilliance to shine through.

Sunstone, in mineralogical terms, is aventurine feldspar, although this name is now also used for quartz. During the Renaissance, this stone was often associated with the sun due to its radiant orange and gold colors. It was set in gold and used to attract the sun's energy in magical rituals.
