Moonstone and Sunstone Pendant

This 57 x 34 mm pendant is crafted from high-purity 950 silver, featuring a 33 x 9 mm moonstone cabochon in a navette shape and an 18 x 9 mm sunstone cabochon in a teardrop shape. The pendant design incorporates the moonstone positioned horizontally, from which the sunstone hangs gracefully, allowing both stones to express their respective hues. Both stones are set in a silver box with a bezel clasp.

Moonstone:

Its color and luster are due to the reflection of light on albite and orthoclase. It was very popular during the Roman Empire, when it was believed that its interior was composed of moonbeams. Moonstone is sacred to the moon and is therefore considered the stone of intuition, feeling, the heart, and fertility.
