Pair of parrots

Weighing 4.35 kg, measuring 35 cm high, 19 cm wide, and 10 cm deep, this incredible parrot-shaped sculpture features a pair of green-feathered parrots with white heads and black beaks, perched atop a solid tree trunk in shades of gray and orange.

This pair of parrots was carved from green onyx, combined with white onyx for their heads and black granite beaks. Their bodies are made of gray granite with orange flecks. Perfect details of their plumage, textures, and intense shine delight us in this incredible work of art, which transports us to the Brazilian rainforest. The translucency of the onyx reveals its internal structure, characteristic of a natural stone.

The green onyx comes from San Luis, the white onyx from Mendoza, and both granites from Córdoba, all Argentine provinces. The stones were specially selected for their color, texture, and structure.
