Rose Quartz and Fluorite Toucan

The sculpture, weighing 3.7 kg, is 29 cm high, 26 cm wide, and 15 cm deep. It is a hand-carved toucan made of rose quartz with a violet fluorite beak, perched on a violet fluorite stone.

The Brazilian sculptor finds in the toucan not only a symbol of the biodiversity of the Amazon and the Cerrado, but also a figure of freedom, color and living presence amidst the dense greens of the jungle.

The use of rose quartz is not accidental: it evokes the tenderness and loving energy of nature. In a world where wildness is often associated with aggression, this toucan with its soft forms and delicate pigmentation is a vindication of the sensitive beauty of the tropical environment.
