Fluorite Ring

Ring No. 19 crafted in 925 sterling silver with a faceted, teardrop-cut fluorite stone measuring 20 x 15 mm. The stone is held in place with prongs on a double silver band that contains it and allows light to enter, revealing its beautiful violet hue.

It can occur in a wide range of colors: red, yellow, green, emerald green, blue, violet, and purple, the latter being the most prized. It can be transparent, translucent, or even opaque. It has a vitreous luster and often displays zonal or banded coloration. It was used to treat the symptoms of kidney disease.
