This stunning 47 x 33 mm stone, hand-carved in a free-form rhombus shape, stands out for its premium quality, revealing its bluish brilliance when the light hits it. The design features the stone set in a silver box, adorned with silver trim and small spheres.
Its color and luster are due to the reflection of light on albite and orthoclase. It was very popular during the Roman Empire, when it was believed that its interior was composed of moonbeams.
