A 35 x 13 mm pendant, crafted in 950 silver, crowned with a delicate 19 x 13 mm teardrop-shaped kunzite. The prong setting and the exposed base of the piece allow light to dance within this beautiful stone, accentuating its delicate lilac color with pink highlights. It is a feminine and very delicate piece of jewelry.
The element that gives it the pink hue is manganese. It has recently been observed that green "spodumene" from Afghanistan, proclaimed as hiddenite (a green chromiferous variety of spodumene), turned pink after a few days of sun exposure.
