Kunzite Ring

Size 18 ring, crafted in high-purity 950 silver. The 12 x 10 mm kunzite in this stunning ring is held in place by a handcrafted silver prong setting, atop a beautiful band with a simple design. The exposed base of the stone allows the kunzite to shine with its own inner light, revealing its captivating lilac hue.

The element that gives it the pink hue is manganese. It has recently been observed that green "spodumene" from Afghanistan, proclaimed as hiddenite (a green chromiferous variety of spodumene), turned pink after a few days of sun exposure.
