Earrings with amethyst, yellow sapphires and diopsides

Hoop earrings measuring 22 x 12 mm, crafted from rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, set with faceted stones in circular shapes of 5 and 2 mm in diameter. These delicate hoops feature a 5 mm amethyst, accompanied by diopsides and yellow sapphires, all resting beneath a carved silver elephant. The hoops fasten with a clip-on clasp.

Sapphire:

The elements that give it color are iron and titanium in blue sapphire, and vanadium in violet. Iron determines the yellow and green tones, chromium the pink color, and inclusions of rutile needles produce a silky luster.
